לְכַהֵ֣ן

for ministering as priests

וְאֵילִ֥ם

שְׁנַ֖יִם

without blemish ､

וְלֶ֣חֶם

wə·le·ḥem

､ מַצּ֗וֹת

maṣ·ṣō·wṯ,

וְחַלֹּ֤ת

wə·ḥal·lōṯ

מַצֹּת֙

maṣ·ṣōṯ

בְּלוּלֹ֣ת

bə·lū·lōṯ

､ בַּשֶּׁ֔מֶן

baš·še·men,

with oil ､

וּרְקִיקֵ֥י

ū·rə·qî·qê

､ מַצּ֖וֹת

maṣ·ṣō·wṯ

מְשֻׁחִ֣ים

mə·šu·ḥîm

– בַּשָּׁ֑מֶן

baš·šā·men;

with oil –

סֹ֥לֶת

sō·leṯ

חִטִּ֖ים

ḥiṭ·ṭîm

תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה

ta·‘ă·śeh

. אֹתָֽם׃

’ō·ṯām.

וְנָתַתָּ֤

wə·nā·ṯa·tā

And You shall put

אוֹתָם֙

’ō·w·ṯām

עַל־

‘al-

in

סַ֣ל

sal

､ אֶחָ֔ד

’e·ḥāḏ,

one ､

וְהִקְרַבְתָּ֥

wə·hiq·raḇ·tā

אֹתָ֖ם

’ō·ṯām

､ בַּסָּ֑ל

bas·sāl;

in the basket ､

וְאֶ֨ת־

wə·’eṯ-

and with

הַפָּ֔ר

hap·pār,

the bull

וְאֵ֖ת

wə·’êṯ

and

שְׁנֵ֥י

šə·nê

. הָאֵילִֽם׃

hā·’ê·lim.

the rams .

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

And

אַהֲרֹ֤ן

’a·hă·rōn

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

בָּנָיו֙

bā·nāw

תַּקְרִ֔יב

taq·rîḇ,

you shall bring

אֶל־

’el-

to

פֶּ֖תַח

pe·ṯaḥ

the door

אֹ֣הֶל

’ō·hel

of the tabernacle

､ מוֹעֵ֑ד

mō·w·‘êḏ;

of meeting ､

וְרָחַצְתָּ֥

wə·rā·ḥaṣ·tā

and you shall wash

אֹתָ֖ם

’ō·ṯām

. בַּמָּֽיִם׃

bam·mā·yim.

with water .

וְלָקַחְתָּ֣

wə·lā·qaḥ·tā

And you shall take

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ הַבְּגָדִ֗ים

hab·bə·ḡā·ḏîm,

the garments ､

וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֤

wə·hil·baš·tā

and put on

אֶֽת־

’eṯ-

-

אַהֲרֹן֙

’a·hă·rōn

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ הַכֻּתֹּ֔נֶת

hak·kut·tō·neṯ,

the tunic ､

וְאֵת֙

wə·’êṯ

and

מְעִ֣יל

mə·‘îl

the robe

､ הָאֵפֹ֔ד

hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ,

of the ephod ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

､ הָאֵפֹ֖ד

hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ

the ephod ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

､ הַחֹ֑שֶׁן

ha·ḥō·šen;

the breastplate ､

וְאָפַדְתָּ֣

wə·’ā·p̄aḏ·tā

and gird

ל֔וֹ

lōw,

בְּחֵ֖שֶׁב

bə·ḥê·šeḇ

with the intricately woven band

. הָאֵפֹֽד׃

hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ.

of the ephod .

וְשַׂמְתָּ֥

wə·śam·tā

And You shall put

הַמִּצְנֶ֖פֶת

ham·miṣ·ne·p̄eṯ

עַל־

‘al-

on

､ רֹאשׁ֑וֹ

rō·šōw;

וְנָתַתָּ֛

wə·nā·ṯa·tā

and put

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

נֵ֥זֶר

nê·zer

הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ

haq·qō·ḏeš

the holy

עַל־

‘al-

on

. הַמִּצְנָֽפֶת׃

ham·miṣ·nā·p̄eṯ.

the turban .

וְלָֽקַחְתָּ֙

wə·lā·qaḥ·tā

And you shall take

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

שֶׁ֣מֶן

še·men

､ הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה

ham·miš·ḥāh,

the anointing ､

וְיָצַקְתָּ֖

wə·yā·ṣaq·tā

and pour [it]

עַל־

‘al-

on

､ רֹאשׁ֑וֹ

rō·šōw;

וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֖

ū·mā·šaḥ·tā

. אֹתֽוֹ׃

’ō·ṯōw.

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

And

､ בָּנָ֖יו

bā·nāw

תַּקְרִ֑יב

taq·rîḇ;

you shall bring

וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֖ם

wə·hil·baš·tām

and put on them

. כֻּתֳּנֹֽת׃

kut·to·nōṯ.

וְחָגַרְתָּ֩

wə·ḥā·ḡar·tā

And you shall gird

אֹתָ֨ם

’ō·ṯām

､ אַבְנֵ֜ט

’aḇ·nêṭ

with sashes ､

אַהֲרֹ֣ן

’a·hă·rōn

､ וּבָנָ֗יו

ū·ḇā·nāw,

and his sons ､

וְחָבַשְׁתָּ֤

wə·ḥā·ḇaš·tā

and put

לָהֶם֙

lā·hem

– מִגְבָּעֹ֔ת

miḡ·bā·‘ōṯ,

the hats –

וְהָיְתָ֥ה

wə·hā·yə·ṯāh

and shall be

לָהֶ֛ם

lā·hem

כְּהֻנָּ֖ה

kə·hun·nāh

לְחֻקַּ֣ת

lə·ḥuq·qaṯ

. עוֹלָ֑ם

‘ō·w·lām;

וּמִלֵּאתָ֥

ū·mil·lê·ṯā

So you shall consecrate

יַֽד־

yaḏ-

אַהֲרֹ֖ן

’a·hă·rōn

וְיַד־

wə·yaḏ-

and

. בָּנָֽיו׃

bā·nāw.

Order of the Sacrifices

וְהִקְרַבְתָּ֙

And You shall have brought

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַפָּ֔ר

hap·pār,

the bull

לִפְנֵ֖י

lip̄·nê

אֹ֣הֶל

’ō·hel

､ מוֹעֵ֑ד

mō·w·‘êḏ;

of meeting ､

וְסָמַ֨ךְ

wə·sā·maḵ

אַהֲרֹ֧ן

’a·hă·rōn

וּבָנָ֛יו

ū·ḇā·nāw

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

יְדֵיהֶ֖ם

yə·ḏê·hem

עַל־

And you shall kill

Yah·weh;

[by] the door

וְלָֽקַחְתָּ֙

wə·lā·qaḥ·tā

And You shall take [some]

מִדַּ֣ם

mid·dam

of the blood

､ הַפָּ֔ר

hap·pār,

of the bull ､

וְנָתַתָּ֛ה

wə·nā·ṯat·tāh

and put [it]

עַל־

‘al-

on

קַרְנֹ֥ת

qar·nōṯ

הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ

of the altar

､ בְּאֶצְבָּעֶ֑ךָ

bə·’eṣ·bā·‘e·ḵā;

with your finger ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

כָּל־

kāl-

הַדָּ֣ם

had·dām

תִּשְׁפֹּ֔ךְ

tiš·pōḵ,

אֶל־

’el-

יְס֖וֹד

yə·sō·wḏ

the base

. הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃

ham·miz·bê·aḥ.

of the altar .

וְלָֽקַחְתָּ֗

wə·lā·qaḥ·tā,

And you shall take

אֶֽת־

’eṯ-

-

כָּל־

kāl-

הַחֵלֶב֮

ha·ḥê·leḇ

the fat

הַֽמְכַסֶּ֣ה

ham·ḵas·seh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ הַקֶּרֶב֒

haq·qe·reḇ

the entrails ､

וְאֵ֗ת

wə·’êṯ,

and

הַיֹּתֶ֙רֶת֙

hay·yō·ṯe·reṯ

the fatty lobe [attached]

עַל־

‘al-

to

､ הַכָּבֵ֔ד

hak·kā·ḇêḏ,

the liver ､

וְאֵת֙

wə·’êṯ

and

שְׁתֵּ֣י

šə·tê

､ הַכְּלָיֹ֔ת

hak·kə·lā·yōṯ,

the kidneys ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

הַחֵ֖לֶב

ha·ḥê·leḇ

the fat

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

that [is]

､ עֲלֵיהֶ֑ן

‘ă·lê·hen;

on them ､

וְהִקְטַרְתָּ֖

wə·hiq·ṭar·tā

and burn [them]

. הַמִּזְבֵּֽחָה׃

ham·miz·bê·ḥāh.

on the altar .

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

But

בְּשַׂ֤ר

bə·śar

､ הַפָּר֙

hap·pār

of the bull ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and with

､ עֹר֣וֹ

‘ō·rōw

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

､ פִּרְשׁ֔וֹ

pir·šōw,

תִּשְׂרֹ֣ף

tiś·rōp̄

בָּאֵ֔שׁ

bā·’êš,

with fire

מִח֖וּץ

mi·ḥūṣ

– לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה

lam·ma·ḥă·neh;

the camp –

חַטָּ֖את

ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ

. הֽוּא׃

it [is] .

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

And

הָאַ֥יִל

hā·’a·yil

הָאֶחָ֖ד

hā·’e·ḥāḏ

､ תִּקָּ֑ח

tiq·qāḥ;

You shall also take ､

וְסָ֨מְכ֜וּ

wə·sā·mə·ḵū

אַהֲרֹ֧ן

וּבָנָ֛יו

וְלָֽקַחְתָּ֙

wə·lā·qaḥ·tā

and you shall take

אֶת־

’eṯ-

､ דָּמ֔וֹ

dā·mōw,

וְזָרַקְתָּ֥

wə·zā·raq·tā

and sprinkle [it]

עַל־

‘al-

on

הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ

. סָבִֽיב׃

sā·ḇîḇ.

וְאֶ֨ת־

wə·’eṯ-

And

הָאַ֔יִל

hā·’a·yil,

the ram

תְּנַתֵּ֖חַ

tə·nat·tê·aḥ

､ לִנְתָחָ֑יו

lin·ṯā·ḥāw;

in pieces ､

וְרָחַצְתָּ֤

wə·rā·ḥaṣ·tā

and wash

קִרְבּוֹ֙

qir·bōw

､ וּכְרָעָ֔יו

ū·ḵə·rā·‘āw,

and its legs ､

וְנָתַתָּ֥

wə·nā·ṯa·tā

and put [them]

עַל־

‘al-

with

､ נְתָחָ֖יו

nə·ṯā·ḥāw

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and with

. רֹאשֽׁוֹ׃

rō·šōw.

וְהִקְטַרְתָּ֤

wə·hiq·ṭar·tā

And you shall burn

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

כָּל־

kāl-

הָאַ֙יִל֙

hā·’a·yil

the ram

– הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה

ham·miz·bê·ḥāh,

on the altar –

עֹלָ֥ה

‘ō·lāh

a burnt offering

ה֖וּא

it [is]

– לַֽיהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

to Yahweh –

רֵ֣יחַ

､ נִיח֔וֹחַ

אִשֶּׁ֥ה

an offering made by fire

לַיהוָ֖ה

the right ､

their right ､

וְעַל־

וְזָרַקְתָּ֧

the altar ､

וּמִשֶּׁ֣מֶן

and of some oil

､ הַמִּשְׁחָה֒

ham·miš·ḥāh

the anointing ､

וְהִזֵּיתָ֤

wə·hiz·zê·ṯā

and sprinkle [it]

and shall be consecrated

and his garments ､

וּבָנָ֛יו

And you shall take

the fat

､ וְהָֽאַלְיָ֜ה

wə·hā·’al·yāh

and the fatty tail ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

הַחֵ֣לֶב ׀

ha·ḥê·leḇ

the fat

הַֽמְכַסֶּ֣ה

ham·ḵas·seh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ הַקֶּ֗רֶב

haq·qe·reḇ,

– הַיָּמִ֑ין

hay·yā·mîn;

the right –

כִּ֛י

kî

אֵ֥יל

’êl

､ מִלֻּאִ֖ים

mil·lu·’îm

of consecration ､

– הֽוּא׃

hū.

it [is] –

וְכִכַּ֨ר

wə·ḵik·kar

and loaf

לֶ֜חֶם

le·ḥem

､ אַחַ֗ת

’a·ḥaṯ,

one ､

וַֽחַלַּ֨ת

wa·ḥal·laṯ

לֶ֥חֶם

le·ḥem

､ שֶׁ֛מֶן

še·men

oil ､

אַחַ֖ת

’a·ḥaṯ

וְרָקִ֣יק

wə·rā·qîq

אֶחָ֑ד

’e·ḥāḏ;

מִסַּל֙

mis·sal

from the basket

הַמַּצּ֔וֹת

ham·maṣ·ṣō·wṯ,

of the unleavened bread

אֲשֶׁ֖ר

’ă·šer

that [is]

לִפְנֵ֥י

lip̄·nê

– יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

וְשַׂמְתָּ֣

wə·śam·tā

and you shall put

הַכֹּ֔ל

hak·kōl,

עַ֚ל

‘al

in

כַּפֵּ֣י

kap·pê

､ אַהֲרֹ֔ן

’a·hă·rōn,

of Aaron ､

וְעַ֖ל

wə·‘al

and in

כַּפֵּ֣י

kap·pê

– בָנָ֑יו

ḇā·nāw;

of his sons –

וְהֵנַפְתָּ֥

wə·hê·nap̄·tā

and you shall wave

אֹתָ֛ם

’ō·ṯām

תְּנוּפָ֖ה

tə·nū·p̄āh

[as] a wave offering

לִפְנֵ֥י

lip̄·nê

. יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

וְלָקַחְתָּ֤

wə·lā·qaḥ·tā

And You shall receive back

אֹתָם֙

’ō·ṯām

､ מִיָּדָ֔ם

mî·yā·ḏām,

from their hands ､

וְהִקְטַרְתָּ֥

wə·hiq·ṭar·tā

and burn [them]

הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חָה

ham·miz·bê·ḥāh

on the altar

עַל־

‘al-

as

הָעֹלָ֑ה

hā·‘ō·lāh;

a burnt offering

לְרֵ֤יחַ

lə·rê·aḥ

as a aroma

נִיח֙וֹחַ֙

nî·ḥō·w·aḥ

לִפְנֵ֣י

lip̄·nê

– יְהוָ֔ה

Yah·weh,

אִשֶּׁ֥ה

､ לְאַהֲרֹ֔ן

lə·’a·hă·rōn,

of Aaron ､

וְהֵנַפְתָּ֥

wə·hê·nap̄·tā

and wave

אֹת֛וֹ

’ō·ṯōw

it

תְּנוּפָ֖ה

tə·nū·p̄āh

[as] a wave offering

לִפְנֵ֣י

lip̄·nê

– יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

וְהָיָ֥ה

and it shall be

לְךָ֖

lə·ḵā

. לְמָנָֽה׃

lə·mā·nāh.

וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֞

wə·qid·daš·tā

And you shall consecrate

אֵ֣ת ׀

חֲזֵ֣ה

ḥă·zêh

､ הַתְּנוּפָ֗ה

hat·tə·nū·p̄āh,

of the wave offering ､

וְאֵת֙

wə·’êṯ

and

שׁ֣וֹק

šō·wq

､ הַתְּרוּמָ֔ה

hat·tə·rū·māh,

of the heave offering ､

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

’ă·šer

､ הוּנַ֖ף

hū·nap̄

is waved ､

וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר

wa·’ă·šer

､ הוּרָ֑ם

hū·rām;

is raised ､

מֵאֵיל֙

mê·’êl

､ הַמִּלֻּאִ֔ים

ham·mil·lu·’îm,

of the consecration ､

מֵאֲשֶׁ֥ר

mê·’ă·šer

of [that] which [is]

לְחָק־

עוֹלָ֗ם

‘ō·w·lām,

מֵאֵת֙

mê·’êṯ

בְּנֵ֣י

bə·nê

the sons

､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

yiś·rā·’êl,

of Israel ､

כִּ֥י

kî

תְרוּמָ֖ה

ṯə·rū·māh

a heave offering

､ ה֑וּא

hū;

it [is] ､

וּתְרוּמָ֞ה

ū·ṯə·rū·māh

and a heave offering

יִהְיֶ֨ה

yih·yeh

it shall be

מֵאֵ֤ת

mê·’êṯ

בְּנֵֽי־

bə·nê-

the sons

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙

yiś·rā·’êl

מִזִּבְחֵ֣י

miz·ziḇ·ḥê

from the sacrifices

､ שַׁלְמֵיהֶ֔ם

šal·mê·hem,

of their peace offerings ､

תְּרוּמָתָ֖ם

tə·rū·mā·ṯām

[that is] their heave offering

. לַיהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

וּבִגְדֵ֤י

ū·ḇiḡ·ḏê

הַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙

haq·qō·ḏeš

the holy

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

לְאַהֲרֹ֔ן

יִהְי֥וּ

לְבָנָ֖יו

lə·ḇā·nāw

– אַחֲרָ֑יו

’a·ḥă·rāw;

לְמָשְׁחָ֣ה

lə·mā·šə·ḥāh

בָהֶ֔ם

ḇā·hem,

וּלְמַלֵּא־

ū·lə·mal·lê-

and to be consecrated

בָ֖ם

ḇām

אֶת־

’eṯ-

. יָדָֽם׃

yā·ḏām.

שִׁבְעַ֣ת

šiḇ·‘aṯ

יָמִ֗ים

yā·mîm,

יִלְבָּשָׁ֧ם

yil·bā·šām

shall put them on

הַכֹּהֵ֛ן

hak·kō·hên

who becomes priest

תַּחְתָּ֖יו

taḥ·tāw

､ מִבָּנָ֑יו

mib·bā·nāw;

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

’ă·šer

יָבֹ֛א

yā·ḇō

אֶל־

’el-

אֹ֥הֶל

’ō·hel

מוֹעֵ֖ד

mō·w·‘êḏ

לְשָׁרֵ֥ת

lə·šā·rêṯ

. בַּקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃

in the holy [place] .

Food for the Priests

וְאֵ֛ת

And

the ram

､ הַמִּלֻּאִ֖ים

ham·mil·lu·’îm

of the consecration ､

תִּקָּ֑ח

tiq·qāḥ;

וּבִשַּׁלְתָּ֥

ū·ḇiš·šal·tā

and boil

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

בְּשָׂר֖וֹ

bə·śā·rōw

בְּמָקֹ֥ם

bə·mā·qōm

in the place

. קָדֹֽשׁ׃

qā·ḏōš.

וְאָכַ֨ל

wə·’ā·ḵal

אַהֲרֹ֤ן

’a·hă·rōn

וּבָנָיו֙

ū·ḇā·nāw

､ הָאַ֔יִל

hā·’a·yil,

of the ram ､

וְאֶת־

and

הַלֶּ֖חֶם

that [is]

､ בַּסָּ֑ל

bas·sāl;

in the basket ､

פֶּ֖תַח

pe·ṯaḥ

[by] the door

אֹ֥הֶל

’ō·hel

of the tabernacle

. מוֹעֵֽד׃

mō·w·‘êḏ.

וְאָכְל֤וּ

wə·’ā·ḵə·lū

And they shall eat

אֹתָם֙

’ō·ṯām

-

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

those things with which

､ כֻּפַּ֣ר

kup·par

the atonement was made ､

בָּהֶ֔ם

bā·hem,

-

לְמַלֵּ֥א

lə·mal·lê

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ יָדָ֖ם

yā·ḏām

- ､

לְקַדֵּ֣שׁ

lə·qad·dêš

[and] to sanctify

. אֹתָ֑ם

’ō·ṯām;

וְזָ֥ר

wə·zār

But an outsider

לֹא־

lō-

not

､ יֹאכַ֖ל

yō·ḵal

shall eat [them] ､

כִּי־

kî-

קֹ֥דֶשׁ

qō·ḏeš

. הֵֽם׃

hêm.

וְֽאִם־

wə·’im-

And if

יִוָּתֵ֞ר

yiw·wā·ṯêr

מִבְּשַׂ֧ר

mib·bə·śar

any of the flesh

､ הַמִּלֻּאִ֛ים

ham·mil·lu·’îm

of the consecration offerings ､

וּמִן־

ū·min-

or

､ הַלֶּ֖חֶם

hal·le·ḥem

of the bread ､

עַד־

‘aḏ-

､ הַבֹּ֑קֶר

hab·bō·qer;

the morning ､

וְשָׂרַפְתָּ֤

wə·śā·rap̄·tā

then you shall burn

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַנּוֹתָר֙

han·nō·w·ṯār

– בָּאֵ֔שׁ

bā·’êš,

with fire –

לֹ֥א

lō

not

､ יֵאָכֵ֖ל

yê·’ā·ḵêl

it shall be eaten ､

כִּי־

kî-

קֹ֥דֶשׁ

qō·ḏeš

. הֽוּא׃

it [is] .

וְעָשִׂ֜יתָ

wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā

Thus you shall do

､ לְאַהֲרֹ֤ן

lə·’a·hă·rōn

to Aaron ､

､ וּלְבָנָיו֙

ū·lə·ḇā·nāw

and his sons ､

כָּ֔כָה

kā·ḵāh,

כְּכֹ֥ל

kə·ḵōl

according to all

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

צִוִּ֖יתִי

ṣiw·wî·ṯî

I have commanded

אֹתָ֑כָה

’ō·ṯā·ḵāh;

שִׁבְעַ֥ת

šiḇ·‘aṯ

יָמִ֖ים

yā·mîm

תְּמַלֵּ֥א

tə·mal·lê

you shall consecrate

. יָדָֽם׃

yā·ḏām.

וּפַ֨ר

ū·p̄ar

And a bull

חַטָּ֜את

ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ

[as] a sin offering

תַּעֲשֶׂ֤ה

ta·‘ă·śeh

you shall offer

לַיּוֹם֙

lay·yō·wm

עַל־

‘al-

הַכִּפֻּרִ֔ים

hak·kip·pu·rîm,

וְחִטֵּאתָ֙

wə·ḥiṭ·ṭê·ṯā

and You shall cleanse

עַל־

‘al-

for it

､ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ,

the altar ､

בְּכַפֶּרְךָ֖

bə·ḵap·per·ḵā

when you make atonement

עָלָ֑יו

‘ā·lāw;

for it

וּמָֽשַׁחְתָּ֥

ū·mā·šaḥ·tā

and you shall anoint

אֹת֖וֹ

’ō·ṯōw

it

. לְקַדְּשֽׁוֹ׃

lə·qad·də·šōw.

to sanctify it .

שִׁבְעַ֣ת

šiḇ·‘aṯ

יָמִ֗ים

yā·mîm,

תְּכַפֵּר֙

tə·ḵap·pêr

you shall make atonement

עַל־

‘al-

､ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ

the altar ､

וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֖

wə·qid·daš·tā

– אֹת֑וֹ

’ō·ṯōw;

it –

וְהָיָ֤ה

and shall be

הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙

ham·miz·bê·aḥ

קֹ֣דֶשׁ

qō·ḏeš

– קָֽדָשִׁ֔ים

qā·ḏā·šîm,

holy –

כָּל־

kāl-

הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ

han·nō·ḡê·a‘

בַּמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ

bam·miz·bê·aḥ

. יִקְדָּֽשׁ׃

you shall offer

– הָעַרְבָּֽיִם׃

וְעִשָּׂרֹ֨ן

and shall be a tenth [of an ephah]

בְּשֶׁ֤מֶן

with oil

כָּתִית֙

kā·ṯîṯ

רֶ֣בַע

הַהִ֔ין

､ וְנֵ֕סֶךְ

and [as] a drink offering ､

רְבִעִ֥ית

rə·ḇi·‘îṯ

､ יָ֑יִן

of wine ､

לַכֶּ֖בֶשׂ

lak·ke·ḇeś

with the lamb

. הָאֶחָֽד׃

וְאֵת֙

And

הַכֶּ֣בֶשׂ

hak·ke·ḇeś

the lamb

הַשֵּׁנִ֔י

haš·šê·nî,

תַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה

ta·‘ă·śeh

you shall offer

בֵּ֣ין

bên

at

､ הָעַרְבָּ֑יִם

hā·‘ar·bā·yim;

כְּמִנְחַ֨ת

kə·min·ḥaṯ

as in the grain offering

､ הַבֹּ֤קֶר

hab·bō·qer

the morning ､

וּכְנִסְכָּהּ֙

ū·ḵə·nis·kāh

and the drink offering

תַּֽעֲשֶׂה־

ta·‘ă·śeh-

and you shall offer

לָּ֔הּ

lāh,

with it

לְרֵ֣יחַ

lə·rê·aḥ

､ נִיחֹ֔חַ

nî·ḥō·aḥ,

אִשֶּׁ֖ה

’iš·šeh

an offering made by fire

. לַיהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

עֹלַ֤ת

‘ō·laṯ

[This shall be] a burnt offering

תָּמִיד֙

tā·mîḏ

לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם

lə·ḏō·rō·ṯê·ḵem,

throughout your generations

פֶּ֥תַח

pe·ṯaḥ

[at] the door

אֹֽהֶל־

’ō·hel-

of the tabernacle

מוֹעֵ֖ד

mō·w·‘êḏ

of the

לִפְנֵ֣י

lip̄·nê

､ יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

’ă·šer

אִוָּעֵ֤ד

’iw·wā·‘êḏ

I will meet

לָכֶם֙

lā·ḵem

שָׁ֔מָּה

šām·māh,

לְדַבֵּ֥ר

lə·ḏab·bêr

אֵלֶ֖יךָ

’ê·le·ḵā

with you

. שָֽׁם׃

šām.

וְנֹעַדְתִּ֥י

wə·nō·‘aḏ·tî

And I will meet

שָׁ֖מָּה

šām·māh

לִבְנֵ֣י

liḇ·nê

with the sons

､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

yiś·rā·’êl;

of Israel ､

וְנִקְדַּ֖שׁ

wə·niq·daš

and [the tabernacle] shall be sanctified

. בִּכְבֹדִֽי׃

biḵ·ḇō·ḏî.

by My glory .

וְקִדַּשְׁתִּ֛י

wə·qid·daš·tî

So I will consecrate

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

אֹ֥הֶל

’ō·hel

､ מוֹעֵ֖ד

mō·w·‘êḏ

of meeting ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

– הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ;

the altar –

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and both

אַהֲרֹ֧ן

’a·hă·rōn

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

､ בָּנָ֛יו

bā·nāw

אֲקַדֵּ֖שׁ

’ă·qad·dêš

I will consecrate

לְכַהֵ֥ן

lə·ḵa·hên

to minister as priests

. לִֽי׃

lî.

to Me .

God will Dwell Among the People

וְשָׁ֣כַנְתִּ֔י

wə·šā·ḵan·tî,

And I will dwell

בְּת֖וֹךְ

bə·ṯō·wḵ

בְּנֵ֣י

bə·nê

the sons

､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

yiś·rā·’êl;

of Israel ､

וְהָיִ֥יתִי

wə·hā·yî·ṯî

and will be

לָהֶ֖ם

lā·hem

. לֵאלֹהִֽים׃

lê·lō·hîm.

וְיָדְע֗וּ

wə·yā·ḏə·‘ū,

And they shall know

כִּ֣י

kî

אֲנִ֤י

’ă·nî

I [am]

יְהוָה֙

Yah·weh

､ אֱלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔ם

’ĕ·lō·hê·hem,

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

’ă·šer

הוֹצֵ֧אתִי

hō·w·ṣê·ṯî

אֹתָ֛ם

’ō·ṯām

מֵאֶ֥רֶץ

mê·’e·reṣ

out of the land

､ מִצְרַ֖יִם

miṣ·ra·yim

of Egypt ､

לְשָׁכְנִ֣י

lə·šā·ḵə·nî

that I may dwell

. בְתוֹכָ֑ם

ḇə·ṯō·w·ḵām;

אֲנִ֖י

’ă·nî

I [am]

יְהוָ֥ה

Yah·weh

. אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃
