David Builds An Altar

²⁵ So David gave Ornan 600 shekels of gold by weight for the site. ²⁶ Then David built an altar to the Lord there and presented burnt offerings and peace offerings. And he called on the Lord, and He answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering. ²⁷ Then the Lord commanded the [avenging] angel, and he put his sword back into its sheath.

Leviticus 9:24

Then fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the portions of fat on the altar; and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell face downward [in awe and worship].

Judges 6:21
