¹⁵ And I will endeavor to have each one of you after my departure make mention of these things. ¹⁶ For not having followed cunningly devised fables, have we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but having been eyewitnesses of his majesty. ¹⁷ For having received from God the Father the honor and glory of such a voice having been borne to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
