Saul Attempts To Destroy The Church

1 Saul agreed to his death. There was at that time a great persecution against the congregation at Jerusalem. All but the apostles were scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria. 2 Some devout men buried Stephen, and made loud lamentation over him. 3 Saul ravaged the congregation. He entered every house and dragged off men and women and put them in prison.
