² And the earth was waste and empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. ³ And God said, Let there be light. And there was light. ⁴ And God saw the light that it was good; and God divided between the light and the darkness.

2 Corinthians 4:6

Because it is the God who spoke that out of darkness light should shine who has shone in our hearts for the shining forth of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
