⁵ This is what God says the God who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and its produce, who gives breath to the people on it and life to those who walk in it: ⁶  "I've called you in righteousness. I'll take hold of your hand. I'll preserve you and appoint you as a covenant to the people, as a light for the nations, ⁷ to open blind eyes and to bring out those who are bound from their cells, and those sitting in darkness from prison.
