Isaiah 7:17

That Day

¹⁶ For before the boy will know enough to refuse evil and choose good, the land whose two kings you dread will be forsaken. ¹⁷ The Lord will bring on you, on your people, and on your father’s house such days as have never come since the day that Ephraim separated from Judah, the king of Assyria.” ¹⁸ In that day the Lord will whistle for the fly that is in the remotest part of the rivers of Egypt and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.

Isaiah 8:7-8

And it will rise up over all its channels and go over all its banks.

And the staff in whose hands is My indignation,

1 Kings 12:16-19

“What portion do we have in David?

Nehemiah 9:32

“Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps covenant and lovingkindness,
Do not let all the hardship seem insignificant before You,
Which has come upon us, our kings, our princes, our priests, our prophets, our fathers and on all Your people,
From the days of the kings of Assyria to this day.

Isaiah 36:1-22

Now in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and seized them.
