John 1:7

The Prologue To John's Gospel

⁶ There was a man, sent by God, whose name was John. ⁷ This man came for a testimony, to testify of the light, that all might believe through him. ⁸ He was not the light, but to testify of the light.

John 1:19

AND this is the testimony of John, when the Jews from Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him, Who are you?

Acts 19:4

Paul said, John indeed baptized [administered] the baptism of a change of mind, telling the people to believe on him that was to come after him, that is, on Jesus.
