The People Still Refuse To Believe

⁴⁰ "He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their hearts: that they should not see with their eyes, and understand with their hearts, and should be converted and I should heal them." ⁴¹ Such things said Isaiah when he saw his glory, and spake of him. ⁴² Nevertheless, among the chief rulers many believed on him: but because of the Pharisees they would not be a known of it, lest they should be excommunicated.
