Jonah Is Swallowed By A Fish And Prays To Yahweh

⁶ I went down to the bottoms of the mountains. The earth with its bars [closed] upon me forever. Yet thou have brought up my life from the pit, O LORD my God. ⁷ When my soul fainted within me, I remembered LORD. And my prayer came in to thee, into thy holy temple. ⁸ Those who regard lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
