Clean And Unclean Animals

⁴³ Ye shall not make your souls abominable by any creeping thing creeping, and ye shall not be unclean by them, and be defiled by them. ⁴⁴ For I am Jehovah, your God, and ye were consecrated and ye were holy, for I am holy: and ye shall not make your souls unclean by any creeping thing creeping upon the earth. ⁴⁵ For I am Jehovah bringing up from the land of Egypt, to be to you for God: and ye shall be holy, for I am holy.

Leviticus 19:2
