Jesus Foretells Wars And Persecution

¹¹ and great earthquakes shall be in different places, and famines, and pestilences; and in the heaven shall be frightful appearances, and mighty signs. ¹² But before all these things, they will lay hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and to prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. ¹³ And it shall afford you an opportunity to bear your testimony.
