Luke 24:48

Jesus Appears To The Disciples

⁴⁷ and that in His name repentance as the condition for the forgiveness of sins should be preached to all the nations. Beginning at Jerusalem ⁴⁸  you are to continue as witnesses to these things. ⁴⁹ And I will send down upon you what my Father has promised. But you, on your part, must stay right here in the city until you are clothed with power from on high."
