The Reason For The Parables

¹⁰ And the disciples having come, they said to him, Why do thou speak to them in parables? ¹¹ And having answered, he said to them, Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of the heavens, but to those men it has not been given. ¹² For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever has not, even what he has will be taken away from him.
