Persecution Of Disciples Predicted

¹⁰ And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and hate one another. ¹¹ And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many. ¹² And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

False Prophets

Matthew 7:15

But beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

Matthew 24:24

For false Christs and false prophets shall arise and shew great signs and wonders, so that they would deceive (if it were possible) even the elect.

Matthew 24:5

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and shall deceive many.
