13 You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has become tasteless, by what means shall it become salt again? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trod upon by men. 14 You are the light of the world: a city that lies upon a mountain can not be hid: 15 neither do men light a lamp and place it under the measure, but on the lamp-stand, and it gives light to all that are in the house.
