Psalm 98



Praise The King

1 O sing to the LORD a new song, For He has done wonderful things, His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him.

1 {A Psalm.} O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

1 Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done awesome deeds! His right hand and powerful arm have brought him victory.

1 O sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have wrought salvation for Him.

2 The LORD has made known His salvation; He has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations.

2 The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

2 The LORD has made his deliverance known; he has disclosed his justice before the nations.

2 The Lord has made known His salvation; His righteousness has He openly shown in the sight of the nations.

3 He has remembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

3 He has remembered his gracious love; his faithfulness toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth saw our God's deliverance.

3 He has [earnestly] remembered His mercy and loving-kindness, His truth and His faithfulness toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have witnessed the salvation of our God.

4 Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth; Break forth and sing for joy and sing praises.

4 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

4 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Break forth into joyful songs of praise!

4 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth and sing for joy, yes, sing praises!

5 Sing praises to the LORD with the lyre, With the lyre and the sound of melody.

5 Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.

5 Sing praises to the LORD with a lyre with a lyre and a melodious song!

5 Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the voice of melody.

6 With trumpets and the sound of the horn Shout joyfully before the King, the LORD.

6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.

6 With trumpets and the sound of a ram's horn shout in the presence of the LORD, the king!

6 With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!

7 Let the sea roar and all it contains, The world and those who dwell in it.

7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

7 Let the sea and everything in it shout, along with the world and its inhabitants;

7 Let the sea roar, and all that fills it, the world, and those who dwell in it!

8 Let the rivers clap their hands, Let the mountains sing together for joy

8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together

8 let the rivers clap their hands in unison; and let the mountains sing for joy

8 Let the rivers clap their hands; together let the hills sing for joy

9 Before the LORD, for He is coming to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness And the peoples with equity.

9 Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

9 in the LORD's presence, who comes to judge the earth; He'll judge the world righteously; and its people fairly.

9 Before the Lord, for He is coming to judge [and rule] the earth; with righteousness will He judge [and rule] the world, and the peoples with equity.
