Concluding Exhortations

¹⁷ I urge you, brethren, to take note of those who cause divisions and difficulties, contrary to the doctrine which you have learned; avoid them. ¹⁸ For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth and flattering words they deceive the hearts of the simple. ¹⁹ For your obedience has become known to all, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.
