וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

מַלְכָּ֑הּ

mal·kāh;

גִּבּוֹרֵ֖י

gib·bō·w·rê

. הֶחָֽיִל׃

he·ḥā·yil.

[and] the men of valor .

וְסַבֹּתֶ֣ם

wə·sab·bō·ṯem

And You shall march around

אֶת־

’eṯ-

､ הָעִ֗יר

hā·‘îr,

the city ､

כֹּ֚ל

אַנְשֵׁ֣י

’an·šê

､ הַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה

ham·mil·ḥā·māh,

of war ､

הַקֵּ֥יף

you shall go all around

הָעִ֖יר

the city

. אֶחָ֑ת

הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י

תָּסֹ֥בּוּ

you shall march around

הָעִ֖יר

the city

שֶׁ֣בַע

､ פְּעָמִ֑ים

וְהַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים

wə·hak·kō·hă·nîm,

and the priests

יִתְקְע֖וּ

yiṯ·qə·‘ū

. בַּשּׁוֹפָרֽוֹת׃

baš·šō·w·p̄ā·rō·wṯ.

､ וְהָיָ֞ה

wə·hā·yāh

And it shall come to pass ､

בִּמְשֹׁ֣ךְ ׀

bim·šōḵ

when they make a long [blast]

､ בְּקֶ֣רֶן

bə·qe·ren

with horn ､

הַיּוֹבֵ֗ל

hay·yō·w·ḇêl,

of the ram

[בשמעכם]

bə·šā·mə·‘ă·ḵem

(כְּשָׁמְעֲכֶם֙)

[and] when you hear

אֶת־

of the trumpet ､

יָרִ֥יעוּ

that shall shout

כָל־

– תְּרוּעָ֣ה

with a great

וְנָ֨פְלָ֜ה

then shall fall down

the wall

הָעִיר֙

hā·‘îr

of the city

､ תַּחְתֶּ֔יהָ

taḥ·te·hā,

flat ､

וְעָל֥וּ

wə·‘ā·lū

and will go up

הָעָ֖ם

hā·‘ām

אִ֥ישׁ

. נֶגְדּֽוֹ׃

straight before him .

וַיִּקְרָ֞א

כָּל־

､ מִשְׁפְּחוֹתֶ֖יהָ

miš·pə·ḥō·w·ṯe·hā

her relatives ､

הוֹצִ֑יאוּ

hō·w·ṣî·’ū;

they brought out

וַיַּ֨נִּיח֔וּם

way·yan·nî·ḥūm,

מִח֖וּץ

mi·ḥūṣ

לְמַחֲנֵ֥ה

lə·ma·ḥă·nêh

the camp

. יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

yiś·rā·’êl.

וְהָעִ֛יר

wə·hā·‘îr

But the city

שָׂרְפ֥וּ

śā·rə·p̄ū

､ בָאֵ֖שׁ

ḇā·’êš

with fire ､

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

בָּ֑הּ

bāh;

in it

רַ֣ק ׀

raq

､ הַכֶּ֣סֶף

hak·ke·sep̄

the silver ､

､ וְהַזָּהָ֗ב

wə·haz·zā·hāḇ,

and gold ､

וּכְלֵ֤י

ū·ḵə·lê

and the vessels

הַנְּחֹ֙שֶׁת֙

han·nə·ḥō·šeṯ

､ וְהַבַּרְזֶ֔ל

wə·hab·bar·zel,

and iron ､

נָתְנ֖וּ

nā·ṯə·nū

אוֹצַ֥ר

’ō·w·ṣar

into the treasury

בֵּית־

bêṯ-

of the house of

. יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

וְֽאֶת־

And

רָחָ֣ב

rā·ḥāḇ

הַ֠זּוֹנָה

haz·zō·w·nāh

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

､ בֵּ֨ית

אָבִ֤יהָ

וַתֵּ֙שֶׁב֙

בְּקֶ֣רֶב

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

עַ֖ד

הַזֶּ֑ה

הֶחְבִּ֙יאָה֙

the messengers ､

אֲשֶׁר־

שָׁלַ֥ח

יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ

לְרַגֵּ֥ל

the man

לִפְנֵ֣י

､ יְהוָ֗ה

Yah·weh

אֲשֶׁ֤ר

יָקוּם֙

yā·qūm

וּבָנָ֞ה

ū·ḇā·nāh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

הָעִ֤יר

hā·‘îr

הַזֹּאת֙

haz·zōṯ

אֶת־

’eṯ-

– יְרִיח֔וֹ

yə·rî·ḥōw,

､ בִּבְכֹר֣וֹ

biḇ·ḵō·rōw

with his firstborn ､

יְיַסְּדֶ֔נָּה

yə·yas·sə·ḏen·nāh,

he shall lay its foundation

וּבִצְעִיר֖וֹ

ū·ḇiṣ·‘î·rōw

and with his youngest

יַצִּ֥יב

yaṣ·ṣîḇ

shall he set up

. דְּלָתֶֽיהָ׃

də·lā·ṯe·hā.

וַיְהִ֥י

way·hî

So was

יְהוָ֖ה
