The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things of him; and the Pharisees and chief priests sent servants that they might seize him.

Then came the servants to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said to them, Why did ye not bring him

Then gathered together the chief priests and Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man does many signs.

And he having said these things, one of the attendants standing by gave Jesus a blow with a rod, having said, Answerest thou the chief priest so?

Says one of the chief priest's servants, being of his family whose ear Peter cut off, Saw I not thee in the garden with him?

Pilate answered, Much less am I a Jew; thy nation and the chief priests have delivered thee to me: What didst thou?

When therefore the chief priests and attendants saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify, crucify. Pilate says to them, Take ye him, and crucify; for I find no fault in him.

And they cried, Take away, take away, crucify him. Pilate says to them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.
