'Deliver Us' in the Bible

You complained among yourselves privately and said, "Because the Lord hates us he brought us from Egypt to deliver us over to the Amorites so they could destroy us!

But the Israelites said to the Lord, "We have sinned. You do to us as you see fit, but deliver us today!"

Too bad for us! Who can deliver us from the hand of these mighty gods? These are the gods who struck the Egyptians with all sorts of plagues in the desert!
