One day having retired alone to prayer, he came to his disciples, and ask'd them, saying, whom do the people judge me to be?
"I came into this world," said Jesus, "to judge men, that those who do not see may see, and that those who do see may become blind."
And when she and her household had been immersed, she be sought us, saying: If you judge me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and make it your home. And she con strained us.
Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?
on that day when, as my gospel proclaims, God will judge the secrets [all the hidden thoughts and concealed sins] of men through Christ Jesus.
have ye not known that we shall judge messengers? why not then the things of life?
