'Listen to Me' in the Bible

Then he called the crowd to him again and said to them, "Listen to me, all of you, and understand this:

He retorted, "I have told you that already, and you would not listen to me. Why do you want to hear it over again? Do you want to be disciples of his?"

(I knew thou wouldst always listen to me, but I spoke on account of the crowd around, that they might believe thou hast sent me.)"

When they had finished speaking, James spoke. "Brothers," he said, "listen to me.

for you are well acquainted with all Jewish customs and questions. Pray listen to me then with patience.

It is written in the Law, By men of alien tongues and by the lips of aliens I will speak to this People; but even so, they will not listen to me, saith the Lord.
