'Living Creature' in the Bible

In front of the throne was something like a sea of glass as clear as crystal. In the center of the throne and on each side of the throne were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.

The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature was like an ox, the third living creature had a face like a human, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.

Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,

Then I saw a lamb standing in the middle of the throne, the four living creatures, and the elders. He looked like he had been slaughtered. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent into all the earth.

When the lamb had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders bowed down in front of him. Each held a harp and a gold bowl full of incense, the prayers of the saints.

Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!", and the elders bowed down and worshipped.

Then I saw the lamb open the first of the seven seals. I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, "Go!"

When the lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Go!"

When the lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Go!" I looked, and there was a black horse! Its rider held a scale in his hand.

I heard what sounded like a voice from among the four living creatures, saying, "One day's ration of wheat for a day's wage, or three day's ration of barley for a day's wage! But don't damage the olive oil or the wine!"

When the lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Go!"

All the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell on their faces in front of the throne and worshipped God,

They were singing a new song in front of the throne, the four living creatures, and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

One of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven gold bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever.
