'Mighty God' in the Bible

But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God."

And, as Isaiah had said in a previous passage [1:9], "If the Lord of the [heavenly] armies [i.e., Almighty God] had not left us some descendants [i.e., a small minority], we would have become like Sodom; He would have made us like Gomorrah [i.e., destroyed]."

looking for that blessed hope and glorious appearing of the mighty God, and of our saviour Jesus Christ:

Look, the wages you have fraudulently refused to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out [against you]. And the cries of these harvest hands have reached the ears of the Lord of [heavenly] armies [i.e., Almighty God].
