'Of The Earth' in the Bible

With kings and with counselors of the earth,Who rebuilt ruins for themselves;

“You will know also that your descendants will be many,And your offspring as the grass of the earth.

“He deprives of intelligence the chiefs of the earth’s peopleAnd makes them wander in a pathless waste.

Water wears away stones,Its torrents wash away the dust of the earth;So You destroy man’s hope.

“For He looks to the ends of the earthAnd sees everything under the heavens.

So that they dwell in dreadful valleys,In holes of the earth and of the rocks.

Who teaches us more than the beasts of the earthAnd makes us wiser than the birds of the heavens?’

“Under the whole heaven He lets it loose,And His lightning to the ends of the earth.

“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?Tell Me, if you have understanding,

That it might take hold of the ends of the earth,And the wicked be shaken out of it?

“Have you understood the expanse of the earth?Tell Me, if you know all this.
