'One Father' in the Bible
We are from a family of twelve brothers; we are the sons of one father. One is no longer alive, and the youngest is with our father at this time in the land of Canaan.'
Do we not all have one father? Did not one God create us? Why do we betray one another, in this way making light of the covenant of our ancestors?
And call no one your 'father' on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.
You people are doing the deeds of your father." Then they said to Jesus, "We were not born as a result of immorality! We have only one Father, God himself."
We know that everyone fathered by God does not sin, but God protects the one he has fathered, and the evil one cannot touch him.
