'Put to Shame' in the Bible

‘Therefore their inhabitants were short of strength,They were dismayed and put to shame;They were as the vegetation of the field and as the green herb,As grass on the housetops is scorched before it is grown up.

Let me not be put to shame, O Lord, for I call upon You;Let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol.

But You have saved us from our adversaries,And You have put to shame those who hate us.

O Lord, Your hand is lifted up yet they do not see it.They see Your zeal for the people and are put to shame;Indeed, fire will devour Your enemies.

Let those who persecute me be put to shame, but as for me, let me not be put to shame;Let them be dismayed, but let me not be dismayed.Bring on them a day of disaster,And crush them with twofold destruction!
