'To the Lord' in the Bible
Again ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, "Thou shalt not swear falsely, but shalt perform to the Lord thine oaths."
And many of the sons of Israel will he turn to the Lord their God.
And when the days of their purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord,
as it is written in the law of the Lord: "Every firstborn male shall be called holy to the Lord,"
