Matthew 27:1-2 - Jesus Taken To Pilate

Matthew 27:1-2

1 When it was morning, all the high priests and elders of the people held a consultation about Jesus, with a view to putting him to death. 2 And they bound him and led him away and handed him over to Pilate the governor.

Mark 15:1-5

1 As soon as it was daylight, the high priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes, and they and the whole council bound Jesus and took him away and handed him over to Pilate.

2 Pilate asked him, "Are you the king of the Jews?" He answered, "Yes."

3 And the high priests kept heaping accusations upon him. 4 But Pilate again asked him, "Have you no answer to make? See what charges they are making against you." 5 But Jesus made no further answer at all, so that Pilate wondered.
