Matthew 26:17-25 - Jesus' Final Passover With The Disciples

Matthew 26:17-25

17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread, the disciples came to Jesus, and said, where would you have us make the preparations for the paschal-supper?

18 and he said, go into the city to such a man, and say to him, the master sends you word that his time is at hand, and he designs to keep the passover now at your house with his disciples. 19 the disciples then did as Jesus appointed, and made ready the passover. 20 The even being now come, he sat down with the twelve. 21 and as they were eating, he said, 'tis indeed true that one of this company shall betray me.

22 at which they were exceedingly concern'd, and began every one of them to ask, Lord, is it I?

23 to this he answered, he that has his hand in the dish with mine, he it is that will betray me. 24 the son of man is going to die, pursuant to the scripture: but wo to that man by whom the son of man is betrayed: it had been better for that man, if he had never been born.

25 then Judas, he who was to betray him, said, master, is it I? Jesus replied, yes.

Mark 14:12-21

12 On the first day of unleavened bread, when the paschal lamb is kill'd, his disciples said to him, where would you have us go and prepare for your eating the paschal lamb?

13 upon which he dispatch'd two of his disciples, and said to them: go into the city, and you will meet a man carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. 14 and wherever he enters, say to the master of the house: "thus saith our master; where is the chamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?" 15 and he will shew you a large upper room ready furnished: there make preparation for us. 16 his disciples therefore went away, and being come into the city, they found every thing, as he had told them; and they prepared the paschal lamb.

17 There he came in the evening with the twelve. 18 and as they sat eating, Jesus said, verily I say unto you, one of you that is eating with me, will betray me.

19 and they were seized with sorrow, all successively asking him, is it I?

20 but he answered them, saying, it is one of the twelve, he that eats of the same mess with me. 21 the son of man is going indeed, according to what is written of him: but wo to that man, by whom the son of man is betrayed: it would be better for that man, if he had never been born.

Luke 22:7-13

7 The day of unleaven'd bread being come, when the paschal-lamb was to be sacrific'd, 8 Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, go, and make provision for our eating the paschal-lamb.

9 they ask'd him, where would you have us prepare it?

10 he answered, when you are in the city, you will meet a man with a pitcher of water; follow him to the house, where he goes in: 11 and say to the man of the house, our master sent to ask for a room, where he may eat the passover with his disciples. 12 and he will show you a large upper room ready fitted: there prepare the supper.

13 so they went, and having found every thing as Jesus had said, they made ready the passover.
