Revelation 20:1-6 - Satan Bound For A Thousand Years

¹ And I saw an angel descending from heaven, who had the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand. ² And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; ³ and he cast him into the abyss, and shut him down, and set a seal upon him, that he might not deceive the nations any more, till the thousand years were accomplished; and then he must be loosed again for a little time.

⁴ And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them-even the souls of them who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast, nor his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads, and upon their hands; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years: ⁵ but the rest of the dead revived not till the thousand years were accomplished: this is the first resurrection. ⁶ Happy and holy is he who has a part in the first resurrection! on such, the second death shall have no power; but they shall be the priests of God, and of Christ: and they shall reign with him a thousand years.
