Matthew 24:1-2 - The Destruction Of The Temple Predicted

¹ AND Jesus went out and departed from the temple; and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple. ² And he answered and said to them, Do you not see all these things? I tell you truly, there shall not be left here stone upon stone that shall not be thrown down.

¹ AND as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, Teacher, see what stones, and what buildings!

² And Jesus said to him, Do you see these great buildings? There shall not be left a stone upon a stone, which shall not be thrown down.

⁵ AND some speaking of the temple, that it was adorned with beautiful stones and votive offerings, he said, ⁶ As to these things which you see, the days will come in which stone shall not be left upon stone that shall not be thrown down.
