Deuteronomy 29:2-8 - The Exodus, Wandering, And Conquest Reviewed

2 Moses called together all the people of Israel and said: You saw for yourselves what Jehovah did to the king of Egypt, to his officials, and to his entire country. 3 You saw the terrible plagues, the miracles, and the great wonders that Jehovah performed. 4 To this very day Jehovah has not given you a heart to know, eyes to see, or ears to hear. 5 I led you forty years in the wilderness. Your clothes have not worn out on you. Your sandal has not worn out on your foot. 6 You have not eaten bread. You have not drunk wine or strong drink. This in order that you might know that I am Jehovah your God. 7 When you reached this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon and Og the king of Bashan came out to meet us for battle. We defeated them! 8 We took their land and gave it as an inheritance to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites.
