Revelation 7:1-8 - The Sealing Of The 144,000

¹ After that I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth holding back the four winds of the earth, so that no wind should blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree. ² Then I saw another angel ascend from the east with the seal of the living God, and he cried out in a loud voice to the four angels who had it in their power to harm the earth and the sea, ³ "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we mark the slaves of our God on their foreheads." ⁴ I heard that the number of those that were marked with the seal was 144,000. They were from every tribe of the children of Israel: ⁵ 12,000 from the tribe of Judah that were marked; 12,000 from the tribe of Reuben; 12,000 from the tribe of Gad; ⁶ 12,000 from the tribe of Asher; 12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali; 12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh; ⁷ 12,000 from the tribe of Symeon; 12,000 from the tribe of Levi; 12,000 from the tribe of Issachar; ⁸ 12,000 from the tribe of Zebulon; 12,000 from the tribe of Joseph; 12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin.
