Matthew 5:13-16 - The Sermon On The Mount: Salt And Light
13 You are the salt of the earth. If its taste goes away, how will you restore it? It is good for nothing. All you can do is throw it on the ground and walk on it.
14 You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill may be seen by all. 15 A light is not placed under a cover. To the contrary, it is placed on a table so all may see. 16 Likewise, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
