And he rose up straightway, and, having taken up his couch, went out before them all, so that all were amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it thus.

And those that were feeding them fled and reported it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had taken place.

And having taken the cup, when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank out of it.

Consider this similitude taken from a fig-tree: when its branch is yet tender, and pushes out its leaves, you know that summer is near:
