At last he appeared to the eleven as they were sitting at table, and upbraided them with their unbelief, and hardness of heart; because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He was risen.

but they did not understand the word which He spake to them.

Therefore, if thou wilt but worship me, they all shall be thine.

but when they could not find what way to bring him in because of the croud, they went up on the battlements of the house, and let him down from the roof with his couch, into the midst before Jesus,

And they were all amazed and glorified God, and were filled with awe, saying, we have seen wonderful things to-day.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, They that are in health have no need of a physician, but they that are sick: I am not come to call the righteous,

but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, then they will fast.

a reed shaken by the wind? but what did ye go out to see? a man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that are dressed in fine clothes and live delicately, are in palaces, not in deserts: but what went ye out to see?

and to what are they like? they are like children sitting in the market-place, and calling to one another, and saying, "We have played pleasant tunes to you, and ye have not danced; we have sung mournful ones and ye have not wept:"

and they not being able to pay him, he freely forgave them both: tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

but as there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain, they intreated Him that He would suffer them to enter into them, and He permitted them.

And when those that looked after them saw what was done they fled; and went and told it in city and country:

and they were afraid, for those that saw it told them how the demoniac was healed.

And all the people of the country round about the Gadarenes desired Him to depart from them; for they were seized with great fear: and He went into the ship and returned.

And when Jesus returned, a great multitude of people received Him; for they were all waiting for Him.

And they were all weeping and bewailing her: but He said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.

And the apostles; when they were returned, told Him all that they had done: and He took them and retired privately into a desert place belonging to the city Bethsaida.

But when the people knew it they followed Him; and He received them, and spake to them concerning the kingdom of God, and healed those that had need of a cure.

And when the day began to decline, the twelve came and said to Him, Dismiss the people, that they may go into the villages and country-places round about, and bait, and get food: for here we are in a desert place.

But He said unto them, Do ye give them food. And they said, We have but five loaves and two fishes: unless we should go and buy provisions for all this people:

for they were about five thousand men. And He said to his disciples, Make them sit down in companies by fifty.

And they did so, and caused them all to sit down.
