And Aaron said, Let not my lord be angry; you have seen how the purposes of this people are evil.

And Moses saw the people how they were stripped; for Aaron had stripped them to their shame before their adversaries.

Now therefore, if I have found favour in thy sight, then show me thy way and let me know thee: that I may find grace in thy sight. And look on this also, how that this nation is thy people."

And how shall it be known then that I have found grace in thine eyes I and thy people? Is it not by thy going with us? so shall we be distinguished, I and thy people, from every people that is on the face of the earth.

the Israelites would see the face of Moses, how his skin shone [with a unique radiance]. So Moses put the veil on his face again until he went in to speak with God.
