Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some H953, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this H953 that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again.

And they took him, and cast him into a H953: and the H953 was empty, there was no water in it.

Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the H953, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.

And Reuben returned unto the H953; and, behold, Joseph was not in the H953; and he rent his clothes.

For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the H953.

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the H953: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.

And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the H953; and all the firstborn of cattle.

And if a man shall open a H953, or if a man shall dig a H953, and not cover it, and an ox or an ass fall therein;

The owner of the H953 shall make it good, and give money unto the owner of them; and the dead beast shall be his.
