But Hannah answered and said, "No, my lord. I am a woman {deeply distressed}, but I have not drunk wine [or] strong drink. [Rather], I have poured out my soul before Yahweh.

When you pass through the waters, I [will be] with you, and through the rivers, they shall not flow over you. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and [the] flame shall not scorch you.

And [while] he was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, [as] he was reclining for a meal, a woman came holding an alabaster flask of very costly perfumed oil of genuine nard. [After] breaking the alabaster flask, she poured [it] out on his head.

The spirit of a man will endure his sickness, but a broken spirit, who may bear it?

Yahweh [is] near to [those who are] heartbroken and saves [those who are] crushed in spirit.

Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And behold, a woman [was there] who had a spirit {that had disabled her} [for] eighteen years, and she was bent over and not able to straighten herself up completely. And he placed [his] hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and glorified God.

fixing our eyes on Jesus, the originator and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider the one who endured such hostility by sinners against himself, so that you will not grow weary in your souls [and] give up.

Blessed [are] the meek, because they will inherit the earth.

[He is] the one who heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds.

Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.

My flesh and heart failed, [but] God [is] the {strength} of my heart and my reward forever.
