but I tell you that everyone who puts away his wife, except for the cause of sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is put away commits adultery.
Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them; and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body.
Husbands, love your wives, and do not be bitter against them.
