Blessed and happy are the people who know the joyful sound [of the trumpet’s blast]!
They walk, O Lord, in the light and favor of Your countenance!

Since that time no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, [none equal to him] in all the signs and wonders which the Lord sent him to perform in the land of Egypt against Pharaoh, all his servants, and all his land, and in all the mighty power and all the great and terrible deeds which Moses performed in the sight of all Israel.

But to Your name give glory
Because of Your lovingkindness, because of Your truth and faithfulness.

This is from the Lord and is His doing;
It is marvelous in our eyes.

Therefore a strong people will honor You;
Cities of terrible and violent nations will fear You.

Those who went in front and those who were following [Him] were shouting [in joy and praise],
