by means of death in his fleshly body, that he may present you holy, and without spot, and blameless in his sight;

And not only so, but we rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the reconciliation.

And all these things are from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to him self, not charging their offenses to them, and he has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Therefore, we act as ambassadors for Christ, as though God entreated through us; we beseech in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God:

For you were like sheep that had gone astray; but now you have returned to the shepherd and bishop of your souls.

bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if any one have a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do you:

If, therefore, you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has any thing against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go, first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
