The angel of the LORD encamps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister to them who shall be heirs of salvation?
And when the morning arose, then the angels rushed Lot, saying, Arise, take your wife, and your two daughters, who are here; lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city. And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him outside the city. And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth outside, that he said, Escape for your life; look not behind you, neither stay in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest you be consumed.
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, fear not to take unto you Mary your wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for you.
