And He ordained twelve, that they should be with Him, and that He might send them out to proclaim,

And after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain apart.

And the apostles gathered themselves to Jesus and told Him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught. And He said to them, Come aside into a deserted place and rest a little. For there were many coming and going, and they had no opportunity even to eat. And they departed by boat into a deserted place.

And returning, the apostles told Him all that they had done. And He took them and went aside privately into a deserted place of a city called Bethsaida.

And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

At that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who is the greater in the kingdom of Heaven? And Jesus called a little child to Him and set him in their midst, and said, Truly I say to you, Unless you are converted and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of Heaven.read more.
Therefore whoever shall humble himself like this little child, this one is the greater in the kingdom of Heaven.

And when He was alone, they who were about Him, with the Twelve, asked Him concerning the parable. And He said to them, To you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. But to those outside, all these things are given in parables so that seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

until the day He was taken up, having given directions to the apostles whom He chose, through the Holy Spirit;

And He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases. And He sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And He said to them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staffs, nor a bag, nor bread, nor money, nor each to have two tunics.read more.
And whatever house you enter into, abide there and depart from there. And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them. And they departed and went through the towns, proclaiming the gospel and healing everywhere.

Jesus sent out these twelve, commanding them, saying, Do not go into the way of the nations, and do not enter into any city of the Samaritans. But rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, proclaim, saying, The kingdom of Heaven is at hand.read more.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. You have received freely, freely give. Do not provide gold nor silver, nor copper in your purses, nor a bag for the journey, nor two coats, nor sandals, nor staves. For the workman is worthy of his food.

And He called the Twelve and began to send them out by two and two. And He gave them authority over unclean spirits, and commanded them that they take nothing in the way, except only a staff; no bag, no bread, no copper in the belt, but tying on sandals, and not to put on two tunics.read more.
And He said to them, Wherever you enter into a house, abide there until you depart from that place. And whoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Truly I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city. And they went out and proclaimed that men should repent. And they cast out many demons, and anointed many who were sick with oil, and healed them.

And He ordained twelve, that they should be with Him, and that He might send them out to proclaim, and to have authority to heal sicknesses, and to cast out demons.

But you shall receive power, the Holy Spirit coming upon you. And you shall be witnesses to Me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

And we are witnesses of all things which He did, both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed Him and hanged Him on a tree;

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority is given to Me in Heaven and in earth. Therefore go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the world. Amen.

And He said to them, Go into all the world, proclaim the gospel to all the creation.

And He said to them, So it is written, and so it behoved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be proclaimed in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things.read more.
And behold, I send the promise of My father on you. But you sit in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.

As You have sent Me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world.

Then Jesus said to them again, Peace to you. As My Father has sent Me, even so I send you.
