Know therefore this day, that Jehovah thy God is he who goeth over before thee as a devouring fire; he will destroy them, and he will bring them down before thee: so shalt thou drive them out, and make them to perish quickly, as Jehovah hath spoken unto thee.
let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,
Behold, Jehovah thy God hath set the land before thee: go up, take possession, as Jehovah, the God of thy fathers, hath spoken unto thee; fear not, neither be dismayed.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not affrighted, neither be thou dismayed: for Jehovah thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.
and ye have forgotten the exhortation which reasoneth with you as with sons, My son, regard not lightly the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when thou art reproved of him;
And we desire that each one of you may show the same diligence unto the fulness of hope even to the end:
which we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and stedfast and entering into that which is within the veil;
So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do unto me?
Jehovah is on my side; I will not fear: What can man do unto me? Jehovah is on my side among them that help me: Therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of the people That have set themselves against me round about.
Though a host should encamp against me, My heart shall not fear: Though war should rise against me, Even then will I be confident. One thing have I asked of Jehovah, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of Jehovah, And to inquire in his temple. For thou art my hope, O Lord Jehovah: Thou art my trust from my youth. By thee have I been holden up from the womb; Thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: My praise shall be continually of thee.
My flesh and my heart faileth; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.

And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have boldness toward God; and whatsoever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike . Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.
I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself: save that to him who accounteth anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to the weak. For if a man see thee who hast knowledge sitting at meat in an idol's temple, will not his conscience, if he is weak, be emboldened to eat things sacrificed to idols? For through thy knowledge he that is weak perisheth, the brother for whose sake Christ died.
And he said, O Lord Jehovah, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
For wherein now shall it be known that I have found favor in thy sight, I and thy people? is it not in that thou goest with us, so that we are separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth?
And he said unto him, If now I have found favor in thy sight, then show me a sign that it is thou that talkest with me.
And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.
that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, even Christ,
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
Wait for Jehovah: Be strong, and let thy heart take courage; Yea, wait thou for Jehovah.
