Be not deceived: Evil companionships corrupt good morals.

Walk with wise men, and thou shalt be wise; But the companion of fools shall smart for it.

but as it is, I wrote unto you not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no, not to eat.

Go into the presence of a foolish man, And thou shalt not perceive in him the lips of knowledge.

I have not sat with men of falsehood; Neither will I go in with dissemblers. I hate the assembly of evil-doers, And will not sit with the wicked.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, Nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers: But his delight is in the law of Jehovah; And on his law doth he meditate day and night. The wicked are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Make no friendship with a man that is given to anger; And with a wrathful man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn this ways, And get a snare to thy soul.

My son, if sinners entice thee, Consent thou not. If they say, Come with us, Let us lay wait for blood; Let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause;

Enter not into the path of the wicked, And walk not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it; Turn from it, and pass on.

A man of violence enticeth his neighbor, And leadeth him in a way that is not good.

Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son; But he that is a companion of gluttons shameth his father.
