For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.”

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
‘Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence,
And his children will have refuge.
This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.
A Psalm of David.
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the defense of my life;
Whom shall I dread?
Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you;
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
If the Lord is pleased with us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us—a land which flows with milk and honey. Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go.

He appointed military officers over the people and gathered them to him in the square at the city gate, and spoke encouragingly to them, saying, “Be strong and courageous, do not fear or be dismayed because of the king of Assyria nor because of all the horde that is with him; for the one with us is greater than the one with him.
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people
Who have set themselves against me round about.
Some boast in chariots and some in horses,
But we will boast in the name of the Lord, our God.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him;
