12 Bible Verses about Being Poor

The Lord impoverishes and makes wealthy; he humbles and he exalts.

Remove falsehood and lies far from me; do not give me poverty or riches, feed me with my allotted portion of bread,

What is desirable for a person is to show loyal love, and a poor person is better than a liar.

The rich are not to increase it, and the poor are not to pay less than the half shekel when giving the offering of the Lord, to make atonement for your lives.

This is the law of the one in whom there is a diseased infection, who does not have sufficient means for his purification."
